Preferences - Initial Screen

The initial screen is the first screen displayed during the intake experience, where users begin the intake process by selecting a relevant experience (for example, “Contract Review Request” or “Purchase Request”). On this Preference page, you can configure how various elements of this initial screen display.

The available experience options of the dropdown/radio buttons are defined in the Intake Experiences page above. Asking for additional information (Request description, Need by date, Estimated amount) is defined as part of the Intake Experience setting.

Initial Intake Screen

Configure what's included on the first screen of the intake experience.

Use AI to automatically extract the Supplier name and Product/Item/Service from the request description

Select whether to leverage system data to autofill the supplier name and other purchase/service information from the request description. (De-select this for non-procurement-related processes.)

Show the Requester Information as a standalone step

If selected, the Requester Information screen is displayed as a standalone step in the intake process.

Footnote

Enter a footnote that displays at the bottom of the initial screen.

Due Date Validation

Configure request due date options.

Enable Validation

Select whether to enable validation, checking that the user-provided due date is in the future.

Validation Interval

Select the number of days out from today that the user-provided due date must be set. Default = 1.
