ProcurementWorks Solution
ProcurementWorks is a pre-built, best-practice solution that helps procurement teams quickly implement guided buying and intake-to-procure processes in Tonkean. It builds on the Core Standard Solution, adding procurement-specific modules, workflows, and preferences that connect your intake process directly to your procurement systems.
Like the Core Standard Solution, ProcurementWorks gives you a working foundation you can configure and adapt to your organization's needs, rather than building from scratch. It extends that foundation with the modules and settings procurement teams need to select suppliers and contracts, capture line items, create purchase requisitions, and give requesters visibility into downstream procurement activity.
ProcurementWorks and the Core Standard Solution
ProcurementWorks is a specialized version of the Core Standard Solution. It includes everything in the Core Standard—the intake, triage, and resolution framework, along with the configuration and best practices that come with it—and layers procurement-specific capabilities on top.
Because ProcurementWorks is built on the Core Standard, most of what you configure works the same way it does in the Core Standard Solution. If you're not yet familiar with the Core Standard and its preferences, start there before configuring the procurement-specific modules described in this section.
