Create Entities

An entity is an object from a data source that contains the relevant data source records. Most applications have various entities. For example, Salesforce has a large number of entities, including Accounts, Leads, Opportunities, and Users. Each of these entities has zero to many data source records (that is, zero to many Opportunities or Users), which can become module items.

When you connect a native data source or create a data source, you must select the entities you want Tonkean to monitor. For no-code data sources, you have the freedom to select any supported entity in the application.

Creating and configuring entities is a multi-step process. See the relevant topics in Learn More below, and note the Next Step section at the end of each topic directing you to the next step in the entity configuration process.
